Roles and Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Sales Objectives:
- Prepare plan for sales of Automatic Weather Station & other farmers services solution in Solapur and Sangli District
- Implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Report on regional sales results (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually)
- Work closely with team members to meet individual and group sales targets
- Manage relationships with current and prospective farmers and channel partners.
Business Development
- Conduct regular farmers meetings in villages to generate leads
- Develop strong pipeline of farmers for future sales growth, continuous review and monitoring of farmer leads
- Appointing potential dealers and distributors, consultants, FPCs and other sales channels for setting up the sales and distribution network. Maintain the good relations with all channel partners
- Identify local business opportunities and challenges
- Monitor the market and the competition and identify emerging trends
- Run sales campaigns with participation in fairs and exhibitions for promotional activities
- Collaborate with technical team for resolving issues reported by farmers
