Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities


Sales Objectives:

  • Prepare plan for sales of Automatic Weather Station & other farmers services solution in Solapur and Sangli District
  • Implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Report on regional sales results (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually)
  • Work closely with team members to meet individual and group sales targets
  • Manage relationships with current and prospective farmers and channel partners.

Business Development

  • Conduct regular farmers meetings in villages to generate leads
  • Develop strong pipeline of farmers for future sales growth, continuous review and monitoring of farmer leads
  • Appointing potential dealers and distributors, consultants, FPCs and other sales channels for setting up the sales and distribution network. Maintain the good relations with all channel partners
  • Identify local business opportunities and challenges
  • Monitor the market and the competition and identify emerging trends
  • Run sales campaigns with participation in fairs and exhibitions for promotional activities
  • Collaborate with technical team for resolving issues reported by farmers
