As an early professional you are expected to contribute positively to the growth in business from the target segment (agri dealers and/or farmers). You can be hired in this role by
- Agri-input companies (selling seeds, fertilisers, pesticides etc.)
- Agri implement service companies & platforms ( tractors, harvesters, drones etc.)
- Agriculture co-operatives (FPOs) that are created to service farmers during the production stages
- Contract aggregators/processors/retailers that are sourcing directly from farmers/co-operatives
- Agri-tech digital platforms and marketplace companies
- Financial institutions and Insurance companies that are developing agriculture based financing/insurance products
This role is significant in all countries with significant outdoor production. A similar role is emerging in urban/controlled production value chains as well.
